Product Review: Endertoys
Endertoys are custom 3D-printed Minecraft skin figures by SeusX. Each figure is formed out of hard plastic and is covered with custom decal stickers of a Minecraft skin of your choosing. We received a v1.0 figure, a v2.0 figure, and a keychain.
The figures have arms and heads that can completely rotate in their sockets, and the sockets click into place, allowing the figures to be easily posed. The v2.0 figures also feature fully poseable legs, allowing more possibilities for figure posing. These figures are about 4 inches tall, which makes them the perfect size to display on a desk or beside your computer. Due to their flat feet, the figures can stand upright very easily.
The keychain is made of a flat plastic slab with stickers on each side. The metal rings and plastic slab seem sturdy, which is a must for any keychain.
While the plastic frames of the figures seem solid and the joints withheld a moderate amount of stress, I’m not too sure how well the stickers would hold up during prolonged use. I had to press some the stickers down myself, and I could foresee problems with peeling, especially with the keychain.
Overall, these are neat little toys, and make cool collectable figures and gifts for Minecraft fans.
The v1.0 figures are available for $9.99, the v2.0 figures cost $14.49, and the keychains cost $2.99. There are also 7 inch figures available for $22.49, and buttons for $1.49. You can check them out here.
